Our story
Paul Sueppel retired from the Iowa City Police force in 1995 and opened Sueppel's Vinyl Siding, installing siding, windows and doors. GT Karr started working here during high school, summer breaks and returned full time after getting his degree in Construction Management from UNI. In 2002 GT Karr bought Sueppel's from Paul and expanded the scope to include home remodeling, renovations and additions. As part of our commitment to education and community involvement GT currently serves
on the boards for the Iowa City Home Builder's Association as Second Vice President, The Remodeler's Council Chair, Parade of Homes Chair, Senior Housing Action Committee, Johnson County Climate Action Committee Steering Committee and At-Large on the Historic Preservation Commission.
